The CTBV - Boavista Thermal Power Station II was designed with a 40MW FRAME 6B turbine and auxiliaries incorporated into a floating barge, which is moored in Luanda's fishing harbour, identified as a mobile, emergency spinning reserve that makes it possible to compensate for the availability of the electricity system.
