The Ondjiva Thermal Power Station is one of the largest sources of electricity in Cunene province, consumed by the city of Ondjiva and the surrounding area.

 This thermal power station is equipped with (2) two aeroderivative turbines, model TM2500 GEN8, which are permanently functional to meet the region's demand.
