The Xitoto II Thermal Power Station is the largest source of electricity in Namibe province, consumed by the city of Moçamedes and municipalities in Huíla province. This thermal power station is equipped with (2) two aeroderivative turbines, model TM2500 GEN8, which are permanently in operation 24/24.
