The Malembo Thermal Power Station has been awarded a contract in Cabinda province to generate electricity, in line with the government's strategy to build a project with 145MW of electricity production capacity. 

The facilities are made up of 5 production units, 2 (two) FRAME 6 and 3 (three) TM2500 plus, which run on gas supplied by the CABGOC oil company.
